برغم من تشابه معناهما :- robو steal هناك فرق بين الفعلين
 Steal – stole يأتى بعدها الشيىء المسروق
 Rob – robbed أو الشخص يأتى بعدها المكان المسروق
 Compare :-
The thieves robbed a bank in Canal Street.
The thief robbed me last week.
The thieves stole thousands of pounds from the bank.

لاحظ أن أسماء البلاد و المدن كلها تعتبر أسماء ، و لتكوين الصفة من هذه الأسماء ( -ian ) أو ( -an ) أو ( -n ) يمكننا إضافة noun adjective

The differences between the present perfect tense and the past simple:-

1- يستخدم المضارع التام للتعبير عن حدث تم فى وقت غير محدد فى الماضى
- Greece has won the European Football Cup.
- Egypt has won the African Football Cup.

2- أما إذا تم تحديد فترة محددة فى الماضى فنستخدم الماضى البسيط
- The accident happened at 12 o'clock in the evening.
